Basically, a phone intended for UK will work in India except may be for the caller ID. India has different caller ID system.

DTMF / FSK is a caller ID system and if you won&#039;t subscribe caller ID, you have nothing to worry. A newer DECT is FSK II.

DECT is for the RF part of the telephone to link the base and handset, it has nothing to do with the telephone standards in India.</description>
