Reality is that Apples touch technology is streets ahead of its competitors and they have patents on the dual touch that allows the easy zooming … currently the competitors are clambering to catch up.. it will be a while before there is a touch phone as good as the iPhone. If touch is not critical and you like idea of touch AND keys, the LG is a good phone.

i had the choice between the iphone 3g and the lg secret. I choose the lg because the iphone doesnt have a 5mp camera with a flash and you cant record videos on the iphone. Lg secret has a touch screen and slides up and has normal a normal key pad.

I would suggest the CECT A88 cell phone. It is JUST like the iphone but allows you to have DUAL SIM cards (i.e Business & Personal cellular numbers) Further, it has a stylus so it can recognize your handwriting. It has all the capabilities similiar to the iphone. The very BEST part is that they are much MORE cost efficient then the iphone. Usually you can get a new one, completely UNLOCKED, for $150. That is personally what I sell them for. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at buyitdirect2u at yahoo dot com.

there are much better touchscreens then the iphone.
Look at the htc diamond or htc pro
If youre looking more for a business related phone, check out the blackberry thunder (do realize it is the first RIM touchscreen UI, so it may be very buggy and not worth it yet)

I dont want to make you sound like a fool, but please, do some research before you speak of this.
The iphone is a touchscreen phone that lacks one of the most important features in a touchscreen.. FEEDBACK. there are two main types of touch FEEDBACK . Haptic feedback and tactical feedback. Tactical feedback is a localized movement with a physical response. When you push a button on a remote control, you feel the button move, and it is confirmed by a click or stopping point. this is tactical feedback. This is very advanced for a touchscreen, and as of now, nokia has been the only company to show a proof of concept.
The other type of feedback is known as haptic feedback. Haptic feedback is not localized, but is generalized. When you press something, the entire device will move/vibrate to confirm a button has been activated.
While nearly every other touchscreen phone on the market supports haptic feedback, this is absent on the iphone.
Next, the dual touch feature really is nothing. Any phone that has a “mapped” internet browser will have this feature.
Mapped means that you see the entire image of a website, and you click to zoom in… very very common with mobile internet browsers.
All three phones i listed have haptic feedback, as well as installable mapped internet browsers.
all three phones are gsm (in fact the BB and touch pro are hybrids.. cdma and gsm compatible)
